Strokestown Golf Club

Location
The Golf Club is situated about 2km east of Strokestown and about 20km west of Longford, in the townland of Bumlin, along the N5 Dublin- Westport primary route.




History
The club was formed in 1995 and affiliated to the GUI in the same year. In 2001 the club moved to its present location, which is one of the most scenic parkland club's in the West of Ireland.

Levies
All outstanding levies can now be paid over 10 years. This new concession applies to new and existing members.

New Members
New members are always welcome. Group lessons can be organised from time to time to help newcomers acquire the basic skills of golf and thus enjoy more fully the benefits of this wonderful game open to all ages. For further information contact the club.

Junior Golf School
There are currently over 50 boys and girls involved as junior members of Strokestown Golf Club. Coaching and development of golf skills is central to the work carried out throughout the year with these young people.
